Save the family recipes before the holidays
The cards in Grandma’s recipe box, the stuffing only your aunt knows how to make, the cookies nobody has written down. This holiday season, gather them into one family cookbook that everyone can open, cook from and keep.
How it works
- Ask the family to send photos of their recipe cards, front and back.
- Add each photo to feedme.recipes. It reads the handwriting and turns it into a clean recipe, and keeps the original photo.
- Put them all in one collection called “Family Cookbook”, with a line about who made each dish.
- Share the recipes with a link, or print them for a binder to give as a gift.

There is still time
| By | Do this |
|---|---|
| November 1 | Ask the family for recipes |
| November 15 | Add every recipe to feedme.recipes |
| November 26 | Thanksgiving: cook from it, and collect the stories at the table |
| December 15 | Print copies and share links for holiday gatherings and gifts |
| January 1, 2027 | Start the new year with the family cookbook finished |
Starting later? Any recipe saved before the new year is one that won’t be lost.
