Who we are

Hello, and welcome! We're Martin and Mo, a couple originally from New York who now call the American South home. Two places with very different kitchens, and we've happily borrowed from both.

Our love of food and cooking

One of us loves to cook, and the other loves to find great recipes for him to cook. (It's a system that works beautifully, at least for one of us!) We try to eat healthy, and we love recent food trends like easy sheet pan dinners and protein bowls, but we still love a big meal filled with comfort food now and then. Mo loves all things savory, and Martin has the sweet tooth, so dessert is never an afterthought in our house.

Why we started feedme.recipes

Have you noticed that most recipe sites are a flurry of flashing ads and pop-up sign-up forms before you ever reach the ingredients? We built feedme.recipes to get you straight to the cooking, without the clutter.

We also had a pile of handwritten recipes we could never find when we needed them, and our favorites were getting faded and tattered. We wanted to digitize them, but for some of them we didn't want to lose the nostalgia of keeping family memories in our loved ones' handwriting. So we made a simple fix: take a photo of a recipe, and feedme.recipes turns it into a clean, organized recipe you can search, scale and use easily again and again. And it keeps a picture of the original card with every recipe, so you go digital and still keep the memories.

Searching the web for the perfect recipe has never been more tiring. Our Discover section brings together more than 11,000 hand-picked recipes you can browse and filter by cuisine, course and cooking time, then add to My Recipes with a single click.

What we want for you

We hope feedme.recipes becomes the kitchen companion you reach for every day: the place where the handwritten family favorites are safe, weeknight dinner is sorted in minutes, and the recipes you're proudest of can be shared with the people you love.
